I went to New Delhi, India for a year in 2003 at National Institute of Fashion Technology. My studies were guided by Sr. Professor Asha Baxi. The focus was on traditonal Indian textiles. It was a very thoughtfull year both professional and personal. I enjoyed my stay at the Institute very much, and I found a great beauty in the Indian textiles, which I mainly saw at the Crafts Museum in New Delhi, but also at the Calico Museum in Ahemdabad, Gujaret. In the last part of my year I went to different locations in Nort-West India to experince the crafts and meet the always welcoming people who are central to it´s continuous existence.
